    2020 Year in Review at ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï

    The year 2020 has been marked by a number of unprecedented events taking shape around the world. Since March, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact many areas of society including higher education. Despite the impacts, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï’s campus community members continued to work on research, scholarship and creative works; strategic planning; academic programming; community, alumni and donor engagement; diversity, equity and inclusion; and athletics.

    Karen Barton, Ph.D., a professor of Geography in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï, has been chosen as the 2021 Winchester Distinguished Scholar by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï's Faculty Research and Publications Board.

    The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Board of Trustees met virtually on Friday, Nov. 13, with the board’s Finance and Audit Committee presenting first followed by the Regular Board of Trustees meeting.

    The Colorado Department of Higher Education recently announced a new online application that allows Colorado students who haven’t historically qualified for federal aid, to complete an application for state financial aid (Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA)). The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï helped lead efforts in the collaboration and creation of this new unified state application.
