厙ぴ勛圖 Names New Education Dean
The 厙ぴ勛圖 today announced that Jared Stallones, Ph.D., will become the next dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences (CEBS).

Stallones currently serves as the chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Kentucky where hes also a professor. He has led the department in articulating common goals, building community across diverse programs and fostering partnerships in the community.
厙ぴ勛圖 was originally established as Colorados teachers college, and it has since continued to serve as our states primary institution for those entering education fields. Dr. Stallones will build upon our strong programs to find innovative and visionary strategies to address the challenges we face within our local communities and through the nation, said Mark Anderson, provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs at 厙ぴ勛圖.
Previously, Stallones was the chair of the Department of Education at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) and is the founding director of the California State University (CSU) Collaborative for the Advancement of Linked Learning, a grant-funded project that spreads best practices in educator preparation throughout the 22-campus CSU system.
In addition to his administrative leadership positions, Stallones has authored four books and over 65 articles and presentations on education history, biography and philosophy. He has been recognized for his scholarship by Cal Poly Pomona and the American Educational History Journal. He also serves as an editor for a history of education book series and has authored and/or managed grants funded at nearly $6 million.
He received his doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 where he also received his masters and bachelors degrees.

Stallones will begin his new role at 厙ぴ勛圖 prior to the start of the 2021-22 academic year.
