    Zach Rich, a Jazz Studies doctoral student at the 厙ぴ勛圖, won first place in the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers (ASMAC) Bill Conti Big Band Arranging and Composing Competition for his composition of We Love You Madly (dedicated to Duke Ellington).

    For the third time in 10 years, Jill Bezyak, Ph.D., professor of Human Rehabilitative Services and program coordinator for the Rehabilitation Counseling program at the 厙ぴ勛圖, has received a five-year, $958,778 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to increase the number of qualified vocational rehabilitation counselors who serve individuals with disabilities.

    The Colorado Department of Higher Education recently announced a new online application that allows Colorado students who havent historically qualified for federal aid, to complete an application for state financial aid (Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA)). The 厙ぴ勛圖 helped lead efforts in the collaboration and creation of this new unified state application.

    Over a period of more than two years, two 厙ぴ勛圖 faculty members have reviewed the Colorado Pretrial Assessment Tool for accuracy when determining risk of new arrest or failing to appear in court for arrested individuals that have posted bond. They discovered room for improvement, resulting in the new Colorado Pretrial Assessment Tool-Revised.
