Master of Arts in Art and Design
ÍøÆسԹÏ
Grow as an Artist, Educator, and Creative Professional. The Master of Arts in Art and Design is designed for art educators and studio artists who want to strengthen their creative practice, expand their professional opportunities and earn a graduate degree through a flexible format.
Personalize your studies around your artistic interests while combining academic inquiry, studio practice and professional development. The 30-credit program is completed in approximately 21 to 24 months, begins each fall, and combines mostly online coursework with a required summer studio intensive in Greeley. No GRE is required.
The program can help you grow as an artist and educator, qualify to teach dual or concurrent enrollment courses, explore community college teaching, prepare for future MFA or doctoral study or expand your work in galleries, museums and creative organizations. It may also help practicing teachers advance on their district salary schedule.
Studio Art Graduate Certificate
ÍøÆسԹÏ
Deepen Your Studio Practice. Expand Your Teaching Opportunities. The Studio Art Graduate Certificate provides dedicated time to strengthen your artmaking, develop new skills, and explore new creative directions through focused graduate-level study.
If you already hold a master’s degree, the certificate’s 18 graduate credits in art may also help you meet credential requirements for teaching dual or concurrent enrollment courses or studio art at a community college.
The one-year program is mostly online and includes a required summer studio intensive in Greeley. It begins each fall, requires no GRE, and the coursework may be applied toward ÍøÆسԹϒs Master of Arts in Art and Design if you continue your studies.
