ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Police Services
911 Services and Emergency Phones
While dialing 970-351-2245 is the fastest way to reach ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Police from a cell phone, the department also maintains an emergency phone system across campus. If you’re using a campus landline, dialing 911 will connect you directly to the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Police Department.
If you dial 911 from a cell phone while on or near campus, your call will go to the Weld County Regional Communication Center. They work closely with ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Police and will either assist you directly or quickly transfer your call to our communications center.
For added safety, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï also provides emergency telephones located in the blue light emergency poles throughout campus, as well as at the entrances of most residence halls. These phones offer a direct line to help when you need it most.
Escort Program
The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Police Department offers a free after-hours escort service to anyone on campus who feels unsafe walking alone during hours of darkness. Whether you’re heading to a residence hall, parking lot, or another building, our police officers and student security officers are available to walk with you and ensure you reach your destination safely.
This service is part of our commitment to campus safety and community care. Escorts are available upon request and can be arranged by calling the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Police Department. We encourage students, faculty, and staff to use this service whenever they feel uncomfortable getting around campus.
Lost & Found
The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Police Department operates one of three official lost and found locations on campus. If you’ve lost an item and want to check if it has been turned in, please contact us at (970) 351-2245.
If your item includes identification, and you’re part of the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï community, we’ll make every effort to contact you using the phone numbers listed in MyÍøÆسԹÏ.
Additional lost and found locations are available at:
- University Center – (970) 351-2007
- Michener Library – (970) 351-2671
We encourage you to reach out to any of these locations if you’re missing something. Each site works together to help reunite lost items with their owners.
