The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï announced that Jim Doerner will become the next dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS).

President Andy Feinstein, alongwithÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï deans, staff and students traveled toDenver on Monday, March 20, for Greeley Day at the Capitol. The event is a collaborative effort between ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï and key leaders to promote the city and university with state elected officials.

The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï has had a lot to celebrate throughout 2022. Relive some of the achievements and progress ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï students, faculty, staff and community members have made in 2022, including a collection of photos throughout the year.

For six decades, the ÍøÆسԹÏ’s School of Nursing in the College of Natural and Health Sciences has had a strong history of educating nurses to provide compassionate, courageous and competent care to patients across Colorado and beyond through research and practice.

Along with the thousands of students learning on the ÍøÆسԹÏ’s campus this year, there are about 125 of them that look a little different. If you’ve seen them walking through buildings or playing on Gunter Green, you may have noticed they're about half the age of a typical ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï student and their peals of laughter are an entertaining and welcome reminder of just how much fun school can be.

The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is hosting its fall commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10. Approximately 927 students will graduate this fall with around 526 earning bachelor’s degrees and around 401 earning a master’s specialist or doctoral degree.

Graduate students from the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï are putting their scholarly skills on display during the fall 2022 Graduate Research Symposium on Tuesday, Dec. 6. This year’s symposium is the first of its kind, combining the university's biannual Graduate Research Evening with its second annual Northern Colorado Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition.

Día de los Muertos is a celebration of life and joy in which every year on Nov. 2, families gather to honor the lives of those who have departed.The Mexican traditionwill be celebrated again this year at the ÍøÆسԹÏwith activities on and off campus.

After a national search launched earlier this year, the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Foundation has selected Tony Troxell as its next president. Troxell, who officially stepped into his role on Sept. 16, will be responsible for the overall management of Foundation activities including gift acceptance, distribution of gifts to the university, and investment management.

During the annual State of the University Address on Sept. 14, 2022, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï President Andy Feinstein, along with several other university leaders, reflected on the accomplishments achieved during the first two-year phase of ÍøÆسԹÏ’s strategic plan Rowing, Not Drifting 2030, while also looking forward to the next chapter.
