    Homecoming 2021 is here, and the Bears are Back in Town. Unlike last years virtual celebration from home, 厙ぴ勛圖s Homecoming traditions, some of them dating back to 1923, are returning to in-person again.

    厙ぴ勛圖 (厙ぴ勛圖) has chosen Cedric Howard, Ed.D., as the university's new vice president for Student Affairs. Howard, who was selected through a national search the university launched last May, will start his position on Dec. 6, 2021.

    Its an easy habit to fall into. While watching TV or folding laundry, its almost second nature for many to pick up their phone, browse a retail site and before they know it, theyve clicked purchase multiple times. This became especially popular during the beginning of the pandemic when many were staying at home. Though online shopping is convenient, it can also be costly.

    厙ぴ勛圖 was selected in a highly competitive grant process, as a recipient of a $850,000 Colorado Scholarship Opportunity Initiative (COSI) Back to Work grant. The funding will provide new career paths for workers displaced by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic while also addressing the need for teachers in Colorados classrooms.

    Welcome Events Planned for Students Return

    August 9, 2021

    This August, the Bears are back to school in a big way. There are many on-campus events planned, and 厙ぴ勛圖 has partnered with Greeley to paint the town blue and gold, with This is Bear Country signs appearing in yards and at businesses throughout the area.

    The National Park Services African American Civil Rights Grant Program recently awarded the 厙ぴ勛圖 $497,776 to help fund rehabilitation efforts at the African American townsite of Dearfield.
