    The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is proud to join the fifth annual First-Generation College Celebration on Nov. 8. The event, launched in 2017 by the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) and the Center for First-generation Student Success, is designed to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of first-generation students, faculty, staff and alumni.

    In the early 2000s, two eager ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Theatre Arts majors had their eyes set on New York’s biggest stage. Taking dance course after dance course and performing in multiple student productions, Jason Veasey and Aléna Watters achieved that dream, using the skills they perfected on campus and eventually showcasing them on Broadway.
