The Beatrice Heimerl Educational Research and Statistics graduate Fellowship is awarded to qualifying doctoral students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0+ who have passed the oral comprehensive exam at the committee’s discretion.
Beatrice Bourelle Heimerl, Phd. served as a faculty member and Department Chair of Statistics and Research Methodology within the College of Education. In 1971, she received the Outstanding Teacher Award from the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Foundation, a prestigious honor recommended by the university’s academic administration. Her husband was Ramon P. Heimerl, who served as the Dean of the School of Business.

The Cheryl Fagerberg Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduate students in Applied Statistics and Research Methods. To qualify for this opportunity, the applicant must be a doctoral student in Applied Statistics and Research Methods; have a strong desire to support the department of Applied Statistics and Research Methods. Priority granted to Colorado residents. qualifying doctoral students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0+ who have passed the oral comprehensive exam at the committee’s discretion.
