On March 25, the 网曝吃瓜 Alumni Association hosted its 2023 Honored Alumni Awards. The award, in its 76th year, is presented annually to five 网曝吃瓜 graduates in recognition for career success and a commitment of service to the university.

In 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 latest production of Rodgers and Hammerstein鈥檚 Cinderella, 60 students were involved in the creation of the show, half of which were tasked with behind-the-scenes duties. Take a look at four specific roles seniors took on that helped make Cinderella鈥檚 glass slipper fit night after night a possibility.

President Andy Feinstein, alongwith网曝吃瓜 deans, staff and students traveled toDenver on Monday, March 20, for Greeley Day at the Capitol. The event is a collaborative effort between 网曝吃瓜 and key leaders to promote the city and university with state elected officials.

Jenny Pettit went to Belize three times to conduct research for her dissertation 鈥淓ducational Experiences that Influence the Upward Mobility of Maya Women in Belize,鈥� which was awarded 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 Graduate Dean鈥檚 Citation for Outstanding Dissertation last year. Pettit identified three Maya women who were leaders in their communities and examined how their educational and other life experiences had influenced their success.

Each year, one 网曝吃瓜 faculty member is honored for their excellence in teaching, thanks to the generosity of donors Kathleen Sears 鈥�76 and Jim Helgoth.

网曝吃瓜 student Nathan Wetzel plays Dungeons and Dragons with the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center鈥檚 (GSRC) Queer D&D affinity group. In this episode they talk about what the GSRC and affinity groups are. He also talks about how D&D impacts the queer community and has been helpful in learning more about himself and his friends.

Shawn Montano, an assistant professor in 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 Journalism and Media Studies program with 25 years of industry experience, talks about his transition into teaching and how his students are gaining valuable hands-on experience in digital storytelling, news production and podcasting.
